We LOVE to source surplus lots from larger manufacturers. This is another way to design into sustainability which is a very important aspect of my work. We were lucky enough to source surplus Rag & Bone denim. This is very special raw Selvage (selvedge) denim they sourced from Japan. I call this the “Rag & Bone Me Denim Mask” because it’s the best Selvage (selvedge) denim I’ve found so far and it’s by far my favorite. This sustainable style is achieved with classic touches like contrasting gold thread, premium stitching, an indigo dyed lining and featuring my Grace X signature double top stitch. Built with multiple layers of protection inside with a filter pocket and matching 4 ply filter. This mask is made for reliable security with up to 7 layers of added protection for the wearer while providing undeniable style. If you want to be the person with the best mask in the joint, on the block and perhaps in the entire area, this is hands-down the most luxurious mask available on the market today. I know because I study this stuff day in and day out, but don’t take MY word for it – try it yourself. 😉
About the Construction
Built with form AND function in mind, we make our masks with the utmost quality, from my fabric choices to the quality of the stitching. I created a specially molded design that fits the face allowing for better airflow and more breathe-ability for the wearer. I included a mask wire pocket in the design for easy replacement (All aluminum wire break after about 40 bends) with 3 extra nose wires and a filter pocket with a matching Shibori hand-dyed 4 layer filter. This mask is the ultimate in mask safety, comfort and style. As a cancer survivor, I am glad to say I feel secure wearing this mask into DMV. 🙂
