Odo translates to Rivers in the African Yoruba language of my ancestors. This pattern reminds me of blue rivers so that’s the name I chose! There is something very calming about the chaos in this pattern that I find fascinating. It also looks sharp with any outfit featuring denim. The inner lining is our hand-dyed Shibori natural indigo with 100 % cotton pocket and lanyard straps featuring bronze aglets and a toggle clasp. This is a light mask great for hot summer days, without sacrificing any of the layers of protection you will find in our denim masks. Make it a staple in your wardrobe. Invest in the entire collection for the best mask wardrobe around!
Upgrade this style to our available “PUNKED-UP” spiked version for added effect and extra compliments on your Afro-Punk style!
About the Construction
Built with form AND function in mind, we make our masks with the utmost quality, from my fabric choices to the quality of the stitching. I created a specially molded design that fits the face allowing for better airflow and more breathe-ability for the wearer. I included a mask wire pocket in the design for easy replacement (All aluminum wire break after about 40 bends) with 3 extra nose wires and a filter pocket with a matching Shibori hand-dyed 4 layer filter. This mask is the ultimate in mask safety, comfort and style. As a cancer survivor, I am glad to say I feel secure wearing this mask into the local city council meeting. 🙂
